The Need For Speed series has returned in what could be considered the best series sequel since Need For Speed: High Stakes cruised into stores back in the 90's. Unlike its predecessors Underground and Underground 2, Most Wanted marks the landmark return of those pesky black and whites that exist only to rain on your parade. They're fierce, they travel in numbers, and avoiding confrontations with them is next to impossible on long stretches of two-way highway.


The other major twist on the series comes in the form of the Blacklist. The Blacklist is comprised of 15 drivers that play dirty and get their way with non-Blacklist drivers by refusing to race with them unless they meet a set criterion. The only way players can arrange to race one-on-one with one of these arrogant street warriors is to meet their demands; demands that include winning a set number of races, completing milestones, and racing one's bounty points to a certain level.


Your motivation stems from a gut-wrenching defeat shortly after starting the Career Mode in Most Wanted. Without spoiling the story, the character whose shoes you fill loses his/her car to a man named Razor - the top Blacklistee - after putting your pink slip on the line. With only $30,000 in your pocket, you must work your way up the list of Blacklistees and challenge Razor once again so that you can try and win your BMW back.
